Hillview Golf Course is an 18 hole golf course located in Vernon, British Columbia.
The course opened in 1986 and was designed by course architect Dan Kitsul.
The course is a fast playing 18 hole executive course with short but challenging holes. The course plays to 3,330 yards and a par-56. The course has 16 par-3's and 2 par-4's. But this does not mean the course is simply a chip and putt exercise. Eight ponds (connected by a wandering stream) plus several sand-bunkers are in play. This a target golf course where accuracy is important.
Four of the par threes measure in at 190 yards or over, including the finishing hole which plays to 225 yards. #18 is the most challenging hole, the course's creek runs immediately in front of the green, and two of the lakes lie off the green's right side.
Par for the course is 57. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,330 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,920 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-4 that plays to 285 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 130 yards from the back tees.
